In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Arman finds Abhira sleeping on the floor and realizes she stayed up all night waiting for him. When Abhira wakes up, she confronts Arman about ignoring her. Arman apologizes and admits he was affected by the negative comments circulating on social media. Abhira, showing her maturity, tells him to ignore the trolls and not let their words get to him. She insists on dropping Myra to her dance class, but Arman urges her to rest and decides to take Myra himself.
At home, Kaveri asks Vidya about Abhira. Vidya explains that Abhira is exhausted and still asleep. Sanjay expresses his frustration, saying that while Abhira is sleeping peacefully, the family is restless due to the viral video controversy. Just then, Abhira arrives and boldly tells Sanjay to report the video instead of judging her. Sanjay insists that Abhira should issue a public apology to end the chaos, but Abhira refuses, stating she has done nothing wrong.
Meanwhile, Arman tries to lighten Myra’s mood, but she ignores him, leaving him worried. Later, Abhira stands firm in front of the family, saying she will not apologize for something she didn’t do. She clarifies that if the viral video had been real, she would have taken responsibility, but it was fake. Kajal accuses Abhira of being careless, while Abhira defends herself, saying all she did was hug her husband. Tanya questions her for displaying affection publicly, to which Abhira responds that showing love is not a sin.
At the dance academy, Arman drops Myra off, unaware that she sneaks out later. Krish finds her crying outside and tries to comfort her.
Back at home, Sanjay criticizes Abhira for setting a bad example for Myra. Abhira counters that Myra should learn to express love openly. Tanya again confronts her about hugging Arman in public, but Abhira reminds her that she too held Krish’s hand at her engagement, which was also a public event. Vidya, Madhav, and Manoj support Abhira, while Kiara also sides with her, saying that love should not be judged. Tanya feels hurt and questions Kiara’s loyalty.
Abhira asserts that love between a husband and wife can be expressed respectfully. Sanjay argues that in their generation, couples didn’t even talk openly before others. Abhira highlights the difference between the past and present, saying relationships today are more open and honest. Kaveri surprisingly agrees, admitting that the old traditions were too restrictive.
Despite the family’s arguments, Sanjay once again demands an apology. Abhira refuses, saying that apologizing would make them appear guilty. She challenges Sanjay to apologize himself if he feels so strongly. Furious, Sanjay storms off.
