In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the drama intensifies as relationships are tested and hidden emotions surface. The episode opens with Kaveri anxiously watching Abhira’s room, her expression filled with doubt. Susi notices her strange behaviour and jokingly asks why she’s staring at the door as if she’s ready to attack someone. Kaveri, however, is preoccupied with thoughts about Abhira and Arman’s anniversary.

Abhira steps out of the room and immediately begins pretending to fight with Arman, adding fuel to Kaveri’s concerns. At the same time, Arman stages a similar argument with Vidya. Watching both couples seemingly fall apart leaves Kaveri and Vidya extremely tense.
Arman Stops Abhira from Revealing the Truth
Feeling guilty about worrying the family, Abhira decides to reveal the truth to Kaveri. But before she can speak, Arman pulls her aside and asks her not to expose their plan. He explains that even though Kaveri is worried, they must continue the act for the sake of the bigger plan. Abhira tries to convince him that Kaveri is genuinely distressed, but Arman insists that only this fake fight can help bring Kaveri and Vidya closer.
Unbeknownst to them, Kaveri and Vidya overhear their private conversation. Realising they might be caught, Abhira and Arman immediately resume their fake argument and insist that they won’t go to court for any kind of dispute. This pushes Kaveri and Vidya into taking action—each decides to talk to one of them separately.
The Drama Intensifies
Arman asks Abhira to act more convincingly. Though hesitant, Abhira tries her best to quarrel properly so their plan doesn’t fall apart. They hope that by pretending to have marital issues, they will force Kaveri and Vidya to unite.
Soon, Kaveri and Vidya team up to save Abhira and Arman’s marriage, but Kaveri makes it clear that she still cannot forgive Vidya. Meanwhile, Abhira and Arman continue acting as if they’re on the verge of separation, making things even more believable.
Vidya Discovers the Truth
Vidya’s sharp eye catches the lipstick on Arman’s shirt, and she quickly realises the entire fight is staged. Instead of exposing them immediately, she decides to join their act. Shockingly, she supports the idea of separation and even suggests informing Myra about it.
Abhira panics, indirectly admitting that it’s all a drama. Vidya confronts her and reveals she knows the plan is to make her reconcile with Kaveri. Kaveri enters and scolds both Abhira and Arman for taking marriage lightly and using it as a tool for manipulation.
Kaveri Refuses to Return Home
Even after Abhira and Arman apologise, Kaveri refuses to go back to the Poddar house. Vidya also storms off angrily. Arman tells Abhira that Myra needs to learn to live independently, and that their broken family cannot be reunited easily. He expresses his disappointment, saying it seems impossible to bring the Poddars together again.
Later, Abhira helps Myra get dressed as Arman and Abhira prepare for the grand 5000th episode celebration.
