The episode begins with Abhira making a cake. She lovingly bakes the cake and hides it. She tells herself that she will not tolerate any mistakes now. The next morning, Vidya is looking for the pressure cooker whistle when Abhira quickly hides the cake.
Meanwhile, Vidya is shocked to see that Abhira has started applying under-eye cream. When she asks, Abhira nonchalantly says that she got it at a discount. But Vidya taunts that no cream can erase the pain that a person chooses in life.
Meanwhile, Kaveri and Vidya get into an argument over a bucket of water. The matter escalates to such an extent that both of them taunt each other. Abhira takes the initiative to calm down the situation and takes the responsibility of bringing water for Kaveri. Both of them go out to fetch water together.
On returning home, they find the door locked. Inside, Vidya is immersed in prayers and her heart is filled with grief for her son Armaan. She fasts for Armaan’s well-being and happiness and prays to God that even if he doesn’t come back to her, he should be happy wherever he is.
When Kaveri and Abhira return, they find the door locked from inside. Vidya quickly tries to hide Armaan’s photo, but it’s too late. Kaveri and Abhira realise that Vidya is fasting for Armaan. Abhira is shocked to see Armaan’s photo.
Kaveri gets angry and bluntly says that no one should talk about Armaan anymore. But Vidya doesn’t keep quiet- she says Armaan is her son. Kaveri reminds that Armaan disappeared seven years ago leaving his wife and family behind- no letter, no phone call.
Kaveri takes Abhira’s side and says that at least she is trying to move on. But Vidya calls her a liar- Abhira is still living in the past. She reveals that Abhira made a cake for Pookie and also bought a gift. Vidya accuses Abhira of pretending to have moved on, but inside she is still celebrating Pookie’s birthday. She says that Abhira is not able to sleep properly at night and applies cream under her eyes to hide her tiredness.
Kaveri takes a deep breath and says that we are all stuck in our past. Vidya replies that Kaveri is no different- she just hides her pain from others.
At the end of the episode, Abhira sits quietly and remembers Pookie. She wonders if fate will reunite them one day. On the other hand, Pookie is sitting in the park with her grandfather holding an umbrella, ready to sell something.
