In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Karvachauth celebration brings emotions, misunderstandings, and hidden feelings to light. The episode begins with Abhira, Aliya, Lavanya, Priyanshu, Riyan, and Arman enjoying their sargi. During breakfast, Aliya spots a bill on Priyanshu’s phone and immediately questions him about it. However, Priyanshu avoids her queries, making her suspicious.
Meanwhile, Abhira believes Arman will keep the fast as he always does. She lovingly offers him kheer and insists that he eat something, saying she won’t fast this time. But Arman refuses to believe that Abhira will skip the fast and suspects she’s hiding something.
Aliya gets thrilled when she discovers that Priyanshu has purchased a gold ring and a sari. She confidently tells Abhira and Lavanya that Priyanshu is planning to propose to her soon. On the other hand, Riyan declares that he’s done with love and plans to join a dating app to find a partner. Abhira mocks the idea, calling it foolish, while Arman steps in to defend dating apps. Riyan then asks Abhira for help with food, and Arman becomes more curious about whether she is truly not fasting for him.
Later, Aliya questions Priyanshu about his post-fast plans. He casually says he’ll break her fast and then leave for a presentation. His distant tone makes Aliya doubt his loyalty, leading her to create a fake account on a dating app to check on him. When Abhira tries to stop her, Aliya refuses. To tease Abhira, Arman jokingly claims that he has also made a dating app account and already found matches. The playful banter turns serious when Abhira grows restless, and their phones accidentally get exchanged.
Meanwhile, in the Poddar household, Kaveri compliments Vidya, Kajal, Tanya, and Manisha for looking stunning in their festive attire. Sanjay praises Kajal, earning applause from everyone. Just then, Abhir arrives to return Myra’s sports shoes, and Tanya asks Kiara to take him to Myra’s room.
Back at the event, both Arman and Abhira realize their phones have been swapped. Riyan encourages Arman to check Abhira’s phone, but Priyanshu advises against it. Arman hesitates, torn between curiosity and respect. Similarly, Abhira struggles with the same dilemma.
Tensions rise when Vidya points out that Tanya forgot the vermillion for the puja. She criticizes Tanya and claims she doesn’t deserve to carry forward the Poddar family legacy. Kajal defends Tanya, saying she is still learning and will improve with time. Vidya then brings up the past, reminding everyone that Sanjay once threw her out of the house. Kaveri intervenes, asking Vidya to stop, but Vidya insists she is right. The confrontation leaves Kajal, Sanjay, Krish, and Tanya shocked and speechless.
In the final moments, Abhira and Arman decide to return each other’s phones.
