Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th October 2025 episode begins with Myra telling Tanya not to worry since Abhira and Arman have already sent the women back. Tanya looks annoyed, while Arman prepares kheer and asks Abhira to check if it’s ready. When Abhira teases him about leaving the kheer under the open sky, Arman laughs and says he’ll cover it with a net. Amid their light banter, Abhira surprises him by announcing that she’s going to Jaipur to pursue an advanced law course.
Abhira Decides to Pursue Higher Studies
Meanwhile, Abhir brings kadha for Kiara. Still lost in thoughts about Tanya, Kiara asks Abhir to share the recipe instead of taking so much trouble for her. But Abhir smiles, saying he enjoys doing things for her. Kiara becomes restless, realizing her feelings are growing deeper.
At the same time, Abhira finalizes her decision to move to Jaipur. When Abhir questions her sudden choice, saying her career is already doing well, Abhira explains that she wants to make it even better and make Akshara proud. She recalls how Akshara struggled in her career due to family responsibilities and adds that she doesn’t want Myra to face similar difficulties. Abhira shares her dream of building financial stability for Myra’s future. Hearing this, Abhir supports her decision wholeheartedly.
A Moment of Family Warmth and Farewell
Elsewhere, Manisha and Manoj share a warm hug, and Myra along with Vanya bursts into laughter upon seeing them. Curious, Myra asks Vanya if her parents hug too. Vanya cheerfully replies that her parents always hug — whether it’s a celebration or just before leaving for work. Myra grows emotional thinking about Abhira and Arman, realizing they rarely express their love.
Later, Arman serves the kheer he made earlier. Abhira shares some with Myra and then gets ready to leave for Jaipur. Sanjay gives Abhira his lucky pen, saying it will bring her success. Kajal gifts her a diary, and Manisha with Manoj gives her a big water bottle. Abhira laughs, saying it’s more like a bucket, and Manisha jokes that it will help her stay hydrated and glowing. Kiara reminds Abhira to return soon.
As Abhira bids farewell to the Poddar family, she stops herself from hugging Arman. Myra notices the hesitation and silently wishes they’d embrace. Arman gives Abhira a small gift, asking her to open it only after reaching Jaipur. Abhira tells Myra to keep calling and not to miss her too much.
New Beginnings in Jaipur
Abhir drops Abhira off at her hostel. Back home, Myra innocently asks Vidya and Kaveri why her parents never hug. She vows to reunite Abhira and Arman, declaring she wants them married. Kaveri gets upset by Myra’s words, but the little girl remains firm in her mission. Kiara, noticing her determination, suggests a plan to bring Arman and Abhira closer again.
At the hostel, Abhira is surprised to find Alia with her boyfriend in the room. Alia quickly sends him away and asks if Abhira didn’t notice the signboard outside. She then lays out the hostel rules and casually asks if Abhira is married. Abhira laughs and says no.
