The episode begins with Khushi, who is desperately trying to arrange money for her father’s operation. Despite her continuous efforts, neither her stepmother nor the neighbors come forward to help. One of her fellow businessmen offers to buy her shop for just twenty-five thousand rupees, shocking Khushi. She realizes that everyone is trying to take advantage of her helpless situation.
Meanwhile, Queenie begins to suspect that her husband Diljit has been lying to her. During a heated confrontation, her doubts are confirmed — she accuses him of plotting against her mother. Diljit defends himself, claiming that everything he did was for Queenie and their son. However, Queenie makes it clear that no justification can excuse the harm done to her parents. Diljit’s fear grows as he worries that if Dimpy returns, Baldev might transfer the entire property to her name. But Queenie promises Vikram that she will make sure this doesn’t happen.
During an investigation, Baldev discovers there is no company called “Sugar Substitute.” He is left puzzled about why Diljit supplied such a dangerous product. When Queenie learns about this, she lashes out at Diljit for being selfish and deceitful.
In another part of the story, Mamta, despite having money, refuses to pay for her husband’s treatment. She relies on Khushi, believing she will somehow arrange the full amount. When Khushi fails to do so, Mamta is forced to use her savings.
A lawyer soon arrives at the hospital with one lakh rupees, supposedly sent by Krishna. However, Khushi recognizes the sign on the envelope and immediately realizes where the money came from. She refuses to accept it. Later, when Krishna meets her at the temple and apologizes, Khushi doesn’t listen. She takes the money he gave and drops it into the donation box instead.
Meanwhile, Baldev assigns a senior police officer to find Dimpy. But Queenie and Vikram are against her return. They fear that if Dimpy comes back, Baldev will transfer all the property to her. Their cruel remarks about Dimpy deeply sadden Nandita. Despite living a luxurious life, Queenie and Vikram remain dissatisfied, pressuring their father to transfer everything to them.
Towards the end, Mamta finally decides to give money from her savings but hides the truth from Khushi. She lies, saying a neighbor lent her the money and that they’ll have to repay it slowly. Khushi, unaware of the truth, agrees.
