Mangal Lakshmi latest episode opens with Lakshmi scolding Karan for his careless attitude. She calls him badtameez and questions how he can sleep so peacefully. Karan cheekily replies that the room temperature is perfect and asks her to share the bed, reminding her of their previous misunderstanding. Lakshmi firmly refuses. Karan teases her again, claiming he can control himself but doubts she can resist him. He adds humorously that he won’t even let her breath touch him, so she should sleep peacefully.
As the night continues, Karan wakes up sweating and shouting “Fire!” only to realize that Lakshmi has tied him to the bed. Lakshmi smirks from a chair, telling him it’s payback for his earlier teasing. Karan pleads with her to untie him, saying the blanket feels like it’s burning him. Lakshmi reminds him that she’s simply returning his “torture.” Karan then reveals that he actually helped her at the party when her blouse doori opened and she didn’t even realize it. Shocked, Lakshmi checks and realizes he was telling the truth. Feeling guilty, she quickly unties him.
Lakshmi Feels Guilty as Karan’s Plan Unfolds
When Karan removes his kurta, Lakshmi notices a burn mark on his back. She apologizes and offers to apply ointment. Taking advantage of the moment, Karan convinces her to help him since he can’t reach his back. As Lakshmi gently applies the ointment, Karan mischievously clicks a few photos of them together and secretly posts them online—hoping Karthik will see them and feel jealous.
Meanwhile, Barkha tells Karthik that his wound has healed and she’ll apply ointment later that night. Just then, Karthik sees Karan’s post with Lakshmi and becomes furious. Barkha notices his anger but doesn’t understand why. Karthik angrily throws his phone in frustration.
Lakshmi Confronts Barkha
Later, a worker informs Lakshmi that Dadi sent her a saree, but Barkha took it before it reached her. Realizing Barkha’s intentions, Lakshmi confronts her and accuses her of trying to humiliate her by cutting her blouse strings at the party. Barkha mocks her openly, admitting she did it and warns that she’ll make her life miserable. Lakshmi stands her ground, saying she doesn’t easily give up. As the argument continues, Lakshmi accidentally drinks wine without realizing it.
Lakshmi Gets Drunk and Creates Chaos
Drunk and emotional, Lakshmi enters the room, calling Karan Ravan and Barkha Surpanakha. Karan immediately realizes she’s intoxicated. She tearfully accuses him of ruining her life and claims she sees “four Ravans.” When Karan tries to calm her, she resists and almost falls, but Karan catches her in time.
The next morning, Lakshmi wakes up on the bed in changed clothes and is shocked to see Karan shirtless beside her. When she asks who changed her clothes, Karan mischievously says that she lost control last night and made him lose his control too. Horrified, Lakshmi starts crying, but Karan bursts into laughter, saying it was just a prank. He reveals that the maid changed her clothes and assures her nothing happened.
Lakshmi and Karan’s Heated Argument
Lakshmi angrily says that he doesn’t understand how serious such jokes can be for a woman. Karan tries to calm her down and promises not to repeat it. Later, Lakshmi heads to the office, where her colleagues start teasing her, calling her madam and Mrs. Kapoor. Confused, Lakshmi tells them not to call her that and insists she’s the same Lakshmi who prefers tea over coffee. Swetha playfully asks about her “love story” with Karan, but Lakshmi dismisses her and asks for food instead.
Soon after, Karan arrives at the office and sees Lakshmi laughing with her coworkers. He pulls her aside, reminding her that she’s now his wife and should behave with class. He taunts her for her appearance, saying she can’t fix her “ugly face” but can at least dress better. Lakshmi hits back, saying she won’t change herself for a fake marriage or his shallow standards.
