In today’s Jhanak 26th November 2025 Written Update, the episode opens with an emotional conversation between Rishi and Jhanak. Rishi asks Jhanak if she genuinely feels that no one in his family cares about her except Putul and Dadabhai. Jhanak quietly nods, insisting that she doesn’t want anyone’s love because life doesn’t always give everything we wish for.
Rishi gently reminds her that love happens naturally, but Jhanak counters by pointing out how differently he behaves with her in front of Aditi. She questions whether that is truly love. Rishi tries to explain, saying he cannot give their bond a name. Jhanak then directly asks if he is unhappy with Aditi.
Rishi Confesses the Complexity of His Feelings
Rishi admits that he considers himself lucky to receive love from two people, yet he knows he will never get love from the one he actually desires. When Jhanak asks him whether he loves Aditi, Rishi says love exists in different forms and his feelings for Aditi are not the same as his feelings for Jhanak.
Jhanak criticizes him for disrespecting Aditi by talking this way. Rishi insists Aditi is his responsibility, and he genuinely cares for her, but he cannot confess to her that he loves Jhanak. Instead, he urges Jhanak to concentrate on her career and hopes she finds a good life partner someday.
Jhanak firmly tells him she cannot think of marriage because she was already forced into one in the past. Their emotional conversation pauses as they begin eating, but Jhanak starts coughing and Rishi quickly offers her water.
A Sudden Confrontation
Rishi continues serving Jhanak food, but she reminds him he already has many responsibilities. He then mentions Dadabhai and Indumati’s upcoming 40th wedding anniversary and says Putul will surely invite her. Jhanak refuses, stressing she is not allowed in his house and wants to protect her self-respect.
Just then, Aditi, Aniruddh, and Arshi arrive, completely shocking Jhanak. Aditi mocks the scene, asking Rishi whether Jhanak has now joined the police force since he claimed he was taking food for his team. The principal explains that he informed Aniruddh about Rishi’s arrival and that Rishi broke the rules to meet Jhanak.
A fuming Aditi demands to know what Jhanak wants in exchange for staying away from Rishi. Before Rishi can speak, Aditi throws the tiffin and questions his right to bring food for Jhanak. Arshi and Aniruddh also confront him for lying.
Jhanak calmly says she does not want to interfere between husband and wife. However, she will respond if Aniruddh says anything. Arshi taunts her about not being able to afford a lawyer. Jhanak replies that she never asked for Aniruddh’s property—only her identity. She apologizes to Rishi for eating the food, explaining that this is exactly why she didn’t want to accept it in the first place.
Rishi apologizes to Jhanak and tells Aditi that she would have thrown the food at home too, which is why he hid the truth.
Anjana Returns Home Safely
Meanwhile, the police ask Choton to come to the mortuary for identification, leaving Bablu devastated. Choton insists there must be a misunderstanding. Eventually, a police officer arrives with Anjana, leading to an emotional reunion as Bablu breaks down in tears.
Family Drama Escalates
Back at the house, Tanushri questions Rishi’s intentions behind taking food to Jhanak. Neelu taunts him, while Aniruddh declares that the family can no longer tolerate such behavior. Aditi threatens to leave the house.
Rishi tries defending himself, saying he did nothing wrong. Putul reveals that she advised Rishi not to tell the truth earlier to avoid unnecessary drama. Arshi urges Aditi to leave and warns her not to trust Rishi. Rishi apologizes repeatedly, insisting he never meant to hurt Aditi.
The heated argument reaches its peak as the episode ends.
Precap: A New Storm Awaits
In the upcoming episode of Jhanak, Rishi approaches Jhanak, saying he wants to talk. Jhanak refuses and walks away, but Rishi holds her hand to stop her. Aditi witnesses this moment and questions whether this is the “important work” Rishi mentioned. Sanjhbati also sees the confrontation, hinting at bigger conflicts ahead.
