The latest episode of Jhanak begins with Neelu asking Aditi to call DG and check on Rishi’s whereabouts. Since Rishi had an early morning meeting scheduled with DG, everyone is worried when he doesn’t return home. However, Putul feels Aditi shouldn’t call him directly. Aditi, still anxious, says she has no other choice as Rishi has been out since morning.
Jhanak Written Update 23rd October 2025
Putul shares her concern too, saying she’s worried for her brother. Aditi insists that Rishi shouldn’t be taking such dangerous assignments and suggests he should join Aniruddh’s business instead. Putul disagrees, saying Rishi is not the kind of person who would settle for business. Abhimanyu adds that Rishi now wants to serve the nation, but maybe one day he’ll consider a different path.
When Aditi finally calls DG and puts him on speaker, DG reveals that the meeting with Rishi was actually cancelled and that he had already informed Rishi about it the day before. Shocked, Aditi tells the family that Rishi didn’t answer her calls and lied about his plans. She suspects he went to meet Jhanak, but Indumati refuses to believe that. Tanushri steps in, saying it’s unfair to doubt Rishi over small matters.
Moments later, Rishi walks into the house, visibly tired and silent. Putul sarcastically taunts Aditi for doubting him. However, Aditi confronts Rishi, reminding him that DG confirmed the meeting was cancelled. Rishi lies, saying he was out for work. Abhimanyu says Rishi should have at least informed them. When Aditi questions him about an event she visited that didn’t take place, Rishi claims he got confused due to work pressure. Aditi admits she doesn’t want to live in constant suspicion and asks him to tell her the truth, but Rishi insists everything is fine and says he’s just hungry and exhausted.
The Next Morning
Aditi decides to visit her parents before going to college. Neelu suggests Rishi take the family out for dinner that evening since he ruined their previous day’s plan. Rishi agrees, and Aditi invites Payal, who happily accepts. Tanushri asks her to invite Mishti too, while Rishi says they should also include Putul. However, Aditi refuses, saying Putul wouldn’t feel comfortable joining them.
When Putul overhears the discussion, she says that some people clearly don’t want her there, so she won’t come. The atmosphere turns tense until Abhimanyu turns on the TV to watch the news. Suddenly, Rishi gets nervous as Jhanak’s felicitation event starts airing. The entire family is shocked when Rishi’s speech appears on-screen.
In Simulboni
Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Parashar expresses concern about Jhanak living alone in Kolkata. Jhanak assures him that his and Nutan’s blessings are enough for her. Kanka mentions that Rishi will take care of her, but Jhanak firmly says she has cut all ties with him. Parashar scolds Kanka for interfering in Jhanak’s matters. Hurt and emotional, Jhanak leaves in tears.
Aditi Confronts Rishi
Back home, Aditi accuses Rishi of lying again. She questions how she can trust him if he keeps deceiving her. Neelu also scolds Rishi for going to Simulboni despite knowing Aditi’s feelings. Aditi reminds him that this was his final warning. Tanushri adds that Rishi’s actions are damaging their family’s image, while Abhimanyu says Rishi has crossed all limits this time.
Rishi defends himself, saying he only attended Jhanak’s felicitation because her teacher personally invited him. He didn’t want to disrespect the invitation. However, Aditi points out that the entire city has now seen him on TV with Jhanak, and Payal remarks that Rishi attending the event as Jhanak’s husband was an insult to Aditi. A heartbroken Aditi asks Rishi how he would feel if he were in her position.
Precap: Jhanak Refuses Rishi’s Help
In the upcoming episode, Sakhi informs Rishi that the college management is demanding money for Jhanak’s admission. Jhanak, however, refuses to take Rishi’s help. But Rishi insists on supporting her and offers to let her stay in his friend’s flat for the night.
