The episode of Jhanak opens with a dramatic moment as Rishi learns from the police inspector that Jhanak has been admitted to the city hospital. Worried and restless, Rishi rushes there immediately. Meanwhile, Jhanak lies on the hospital bed thinking about her family and how worried they must be after the recent incident.
Rishi reaches the room and quietly watches Jhanak as the emotional track “Thodi Jagah De De Mujhe” plays in the background. He tells her that he searched for her everywhere. Jhanak, however, questions why he bothered looking for her when she had clearly told him not to care.
Rishi wants to know why she went with Ayush, but Jhanak reminds him that her choices should not matter to him—just like she never questions how he spends his time. When Rishi says he was worried about her, Jhanak reminds him that he doubted her when she insisted she hadn’t called him. Rishi apologizes sincerely, admitting he panicked when he couldn’t find her.
Jhanak presses him further, asking why he was so scared. She firmly tells him she doesn’t have feelings for him. Rishi accepts her words but expresses that he still wants her to stand up for herself. Jhanak tells him she will make her own decisions. He promises to support her and insists that she must reveal Aniruddh’s truth. Jhanak tells him to go home, but Rishi refuses to leave unless he knows she’s safe.
He even offers to drop her back to the hostel later. But Jhanak urges him to focus on Aditi. When he asks why she won’t look at him, she replies that she’s sleepy. Rishi confesses that though he can’t leave Aditi, he still can’t forget Jhanak.
Jhanak reminds him that Aditi is his wife and he shouldn’t come to meet her like this. Rishi admits he can’t predict the future and feels jealous whenever she talks to another man. Jhanak, hurt, says she’s human too—her feelings were crushed when he scolded her in front of his wife. If he truly loved her, he wouldn’t have treated her like that.
Rishi insists she is the most important person in his life. But Jhanak repeats that she wants to focus on her goals. Rishi holds her hand and confesses his love once again. They share an intense eye lock as the emotional song plays.
Meanwhile, at Home…
Aditi grows increasingly worried because Rishi isn’t answering her calls. Dadabhai tries to calm her, saying Rishi is probably busy. Putul expresses relief that Mishti is safe but questions why no one cares about Jhanak. Tanushri snaps back, asking why they should worry about Jhanak instead of Rishi.
Neelu scolds Putul for bringing up Jhanak again and asks her to go find her if she’s so concerned. Putul says no one knows where Jhanak is. Aditi demands to know how Putul is aware of that. Putul reveals that Rishi picked up her call—but ignored Aditi’s. This shocks Aditi, who questions why Rishi spoke to Putul but not her.
Putul tells the family that Rishi said no one knows Jhanak’s whereabouts, and accuses them of not caring about her at all. Tanushri says Putul is obsessed with Jhanak and is ignoring Rishi’s condition. Neelu mocks her again, telling her to go look for Jhanak herself.
Dadabhai defends Jhanak, saying she never demanded anything in the divorce and quietly walked away from Rishi’s life. Yet no one tries to understand her. Neelu wonders how Aditi will react if she finds out about Rishi’s ex-wife.
Aditi coldly replies that Jhanak never tried to trap Rishi.
Elsewhere, Arshi tells Bablu and Anjana that Jhanak is missing from the location where the bomb blast happened. Shocked, they fear she might be hurt. Arshi even suggests she could be dead or severely injured, but Bablu asks her not to speak that way.
Rishi Returns Home
When Rishi finally arrives home, Aditi questions him about his delay. Tanushri says they were all worried. Aditi directly asks whether he met Jhanak after work. Rishi calmly says yes. Dadabhai inquires about Jhanak’s condition, and Rishi confirms she is recovering well along with the other injured students.
Neelu tells him he should have called Aditi, but Rishi asks her not to interfere. Dadabhai also warns Neelu not to get into others’ matters, reminding her that things aren’t perfect in her own marriage. Aditi asserts her right to question Rishi, and he replies that no one is stopping her.
