The latest episode of Jhanak begins with Parashar breaking the heartbreaking news of Nutan’s death to Rishi. He explains that he performed Nutan’s last rites himself and couldn’t gather the courage to inform Jhanak directly. Parashar asks Rishi to reveal the truth to Jhanak at the right time and also take responsibility for her well-being, since she has no one else left. Rishi assures him that he will look after Jhanak and then disconnects the call. Later, Rishi informs his family about Nutan’s passing. While Dadabhai remarks that Jhanak is now completely alone, Rishi reminds everyone that her biological father is still alive.

Jhanak’s Struggles and Restlessness
The next morning, Putul helps Jhanak walk, but Jhanak insists she is fine. Dadabhai advises her to remain silent and take proper rest. However, Jhanak expresses her concern about preparing for her upcoming exam. Rishi instructs Putul to take Jhanak back to her room. Tanushri, however, makes it clear that this is the last time they will take responsibility for Jhanak.
Jhanak shares that she wanted to go to Simulboni directly from the hospital, but Rishi brought her there instead. She confesses to feeling uneasy and deeply missing her mother, Nutan. She even recalls a dream she had about her.
Tension Between Aditi and Rishi
Soon after, Aditi arrives. When Jhanak mentions her wish to go to Simulboni, Aditi warns her not to cross boundaries. She refuses to speak to Jhanak and instead confronts Rishi, accusing him of focusing on everything except his professional responsibilities. Rishi defends himself, saying that since his actions led to Jhanak’s accident, he feels responsible for her.
This frustrates Aditi, who questions whether Rishi truly cares for her. Rishi pleads for some time, reminding her of the ongoing crisis. Tanushri steps in, explaining that Rishi has already faced too much. She suggests they settle everything after Jhanak goes to Simulboni.
The Shocking Truth Revealed to Jhanak
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu raises concerns about Jhanak being there when there’s an urgent situation in Simulboni. Curious, Jhanak asks what happened, but no one tells her the truth. Rishi explains that since she was hospitalized, they didn’t want to burden her. Aditi argues that Jhanak deserves to know and insists on telling her immediately. Tanushri supports this.
When Rishi hesitates, Aditi directly tells Jhanak that Nutan has passed away. Jhanak is devastated by the revelation, breaking down into tears upon hearing that her mother died the previous day.
