The latest episode of Jhanak (29th August 2025) brings a shocking revelation that leaves Rishi stunned and changes the course of the story.
The episode begins with Rishi questioning Nutan about Jhanak’s father. At first, Nutan recalls her marriage to Aniruddh and confesses that had she revealed the truth earlier, it would have created a storm in everyone’s life. With a heavy heart, she admits that time is slipping away and she must reveal everything now.
Finally, Nutan tells Rishi that Aniruddh Bose is Jhanak’s real father. This shocking truth leaves Rishi speechless. He immediately asks about Aditi. Nutan clarifies that Aditi is actually Aniruddh and Arshi’s daughter. She explains that Aditi stayed with her for a few years, and she used to call her “Moon.” Rishi then recalls how Bablu had once called Aditi by the same name.
Meanwhile, Jhanak hands over a letter to Rishi, meant for Aniruddh, and advises him to talk to Anjana and Bablu if he has any further doubts.
Aditi Confronts Rishi’s Decision
On the other side, Aditi expresses her frustration to Aniruddh. She feels that Rishi is disrespecting her choices and informs him that after reaching Simulboni, Rishi called her saying someone there was in a serious condition. Aniruddh immediately wonders if Nutan’s health has worsened, but Aditi avoids the discussion and walks away.
At Anjana’s house, emotions run high as she tells Bablu that they should have always been there for Jhanak, considering the struggles she faced. Hearing this, Arshi grows angry and accuses everyone of giving Jhanak unnecessary importance after so many years.
Family Conflict Over Rishi and Jhanak
Later, Aditi goes to Rishi’s house, demanding to know why no one stopped him. However, Dadabhai firmly says he is proud of Rishi’s decision and sees no reason to stop him. Indumati tries to calm the situation, while Surjeet reminds everyone that Jhanak’s condition is critical and her family deserves to be informed. Otherwise, Rishi may face blame in the future.
Tanushri takes Aditi’s side, pointing out that her marriage was cancelled because of Jhanak, and now Rishi’s involvement will naturally affect her life. But Dadabhai strongly defends Rishi, saying he acted responsibly. He even tells Aditi that fate cannot be changed—Rishi’s marriage with Jhanak is a fact, and he must accept the truth.
This only increases the tension, as Abhimanyu reminds Dadabhai that the marriage was forced. Yet Dadabhai remains firm in his stand. Aditi, on the other hand, claims that Jhanak is only supporting Rishi to stay in his good books.
Nutan’s Last Wish for Rishi
In a heartbreaking moment, Nutan struggles to breathe. Rishi offers to call a doctor, but Nutan refuses, saying her time has come. With tears in her eyes, she makes an emotional request—she asks Rishi to never leave Jhanak, as it is her last wish.
The episode ends on this emotional note.
