The latest episode of Jhanak (1st September 2025) begins with an intense confrontation between Rishi and Aniruddh. Rishi reminds Aniruddh that it was Nutan’s wish to send Jhanak to a city college, as it was also Jhanak’s lifelong dream. He questions how Aniruddh could even think of sending her to Simulboni instead.
Aniruddh, however, avoids responsibility and asks why Rishi is so concerned about Jhanak. Rishi replies that since Aniruddh has failed to take responsibility for Jhanak, he will do it himself. He even declares that Jhanak is Aniruddh’s daughter and that all their problems could have been avoided if Aniruddh had accepted her truth earlier.
Aniruddh confesses that he cannot acknowledge Jhanak as his daughter because Aditi will never accept it. He pleads with Rishi to keep this secret, insisting that even if the truth comes out, Aditi will believe him over Rishi. Disheartened, Rishi takes away a letter from Aniruddh, saying that Aniruddh doesn’t deserve it.
Nutan’s Emotional Final Moments
Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Nutan shares an emotional conversation with Parashar. She asks him to make sure Jhanak fulfills her dream of becoming a doctor. Parashar promises her that she will live to see Jhanak succeed, but Nutan reveals that her time is ending.
With teary eyes, Nutan tells Parashar that she feels guilty for ruining his life, but he lovingly assures her that she completed his world. He calls her his strength and refuses her request to remarry after her death. Despite his pleas, Nutan says her memories will live on, and though she wishes to live for Jhanak, God is calling her away. Tragically, Nutan breathes her last as Parashar and the villagers cry in grief.
Rishi’s Big Decision Shocks the Family
Back in the city, Abhimanyu criticizes Rishi for creating more problems by visiting Simulboni. Tanushri argues that since Jhanak’s family is not taking responsibility for her, they shouldn’t either. But Rishi defends his actions, saying he followed his heart.
When Payal asks what will happen to Jhanak after her hospital discharge, Rishi shocks everyone by declaring that Jhanak will stay with them. His family is stunned, and Tanushri even threatens to leave the house if Jhanak stays there.
Dadabhai intervenes, saying Jhanak cannot be told about Nutan’s death yet and shouldn’t be sent to Simulboni in her fragile condition. Rishi insists Jhanak must recover before making any big move. Even when questioned by Indumati, Rishi firmly states that since Aniruddh has abandoned his responsibility, he will take it upon himself. If the family disagrees, he will find a hostel or PG for Jhanak.
Heartbreaking End & Precap
The episode takes a tragic turn as Nutan passes away in Simulboni, leaving Parashar and the villagers devastated. At the same time, Jhanak, still in the hospital, whispers her mother’s name, unaware of her death.
Precap: Putul helps Jhanak enter the house. Jhanak expresses her wish to return to Simulboni, but Rishi tells her to wait two days. Meanwhile, Aditi confronts Rishi about why he didn’t inform Jhanak about Nutan’s death.
