The episode of Jhanak on 17th September 2025 begins with Jhanak arriving at school. Her teacher feels delighted to see her and asks if she is prepared for the exam. Jhanak replies with determination, saying she will try her best. However, the teacher quickly notices that Jhanak is running a fever. She reminds her that this is not the right age for marriage but expresses happiness that Jhanak’s in-laws are allowing her to continue her education. She also advises her to revise quickly as the exam is set to begin in just 15 minutes.

Rishi and Aditi’s Conflict
On the other side, tensions rise between Rishi and Aditi. Aditi questions why Rishi is taking so much responsibility for Jhanak. Rishi firmly replies that it’s his duty to support her. Anjana tries to calm the situation, while Bablu adds that if this support was only about money, Aditi might have understood better. But Rishi clarifies that it is not just about money—he genuinely wants to see Jhanak study in Kolkata and build a better future.
Aditi, feeling insecure, accuses Rishi of being overly involved in Jhanak’s life. She even asks him to admit directly if he doesn’t want to marry her. Rishi explains that it’s not about refusing marriage, but about trust. He tells her that if she doubts him now, those doubts will only grow stronger after marriage. Eventually, Rishi declares that Aditi is free to make her own decision about their relationship.
Arshi comments that it seems Rishi no longer wants the marriage, but Rishi explains that while he does love Aditi, he cannot commit to a relationship built on mistrust. Confused and emotional, he wonders why he suddenly feels uncertain about marrying Aditi after years of being together.
Rishi Encourages Jhanak
Later, Rishi calls Jhanak to check on her. He motivates her to do well in her exam and asks about her health. Jhanak admits she has caught a cold but hides her fever from him. Concerned, Rishi promises to call her in the evening to know how she performed in the exam. Jhanak confesses that she feels underprepared, but Rishi reassures her, reminding her that she is talented and capable.
When Jhanak shares that she hasn’t thought about joining Kolkata College yet, Rishi encourages her to consider it, saying she will gain valuable knowledge and experience there. He also reminds her of her dream of becoming a doctor since Simulboni lacks proper medical care. Jhanak, however, expresses her desire to stay in Simulboni forever.
