ChatBlu Launches AI-Powered Inventory Agent to Revolutionize E-Commerce Management

ChatBlu, a next-generation startup founded by two 20-year-old entrepreneurs, Kristian Lukauskis from Miami and Alexander Dillon from London, is redefining how online retailers manage their inventory. With a successful $500,000 pre-seed funding round, ChatBlu introduces what it calls the world’s first autonomous AI inventory management agent — designed to make e-commerce operations effortless and fully automated across platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, and WooCommerce.

Making E-Commerce Smarter and Simpler

Every year, retailers lose an estimated $1.8 trillion due to overstocking and stockouts, often caused by manual and disconnected inventory updates. Many sellers still manage listings by hand across different platforms, which wastes valuable time and increases the risk of human error.

ChatBlu aims to eliminate that burden. The company’s AI-powered inventory system enables sellers to issue a simple instruction — such as “apply a 20% discount to all winter jackets” — and the ChatBlu agent automatically executes the change across every connected store. Within seconds, all listings are updated, synchronized, and confirmed, saving time and ensuring accuracy.

How ChatBlu’s AI Agent Works

ChatBlu’s autonomous inventory agent operates quietly in the background. It processes natural language commands, applies price or product changes instantly, and ensures consistency across all online storefronts. Whether it’s a discount update, stock adjustment, or product description edit, the agent delivers a seamless experience without requiring sellers to log in to multiple platforms.

This single point of control can significantly reduce delays between channels, especially during time-sensitive campaigns or flash sales. When promotions go live, having synchronized product listings helps prevent overselling, dead stock, and missed sales opportunities.

Early internal tests at ChatBlu indicate that conversion rates could improve by up to 20% due to faster updates and cleaner, optimized listings. By aligning inventory data and enhancing listing accuracy, the platform boosts a customer’s likelihood of completing a purchase.

The Visionaries Behind ChatBlu

The startup’s young founders bring diverse experience and energy to the e-commerce tech space. Kristian Lukauskis, a serial online entrepreneur from Florida, leads business development, while Alexander Dillon, a Loughborough University graduate, focuses on product strategy and partnerships.

Supporting them is CTO Sairam Vangapally, a former data systems engineer at Amazon and Shutterfly, whose expertise powers ChatBlu’s robust AI infrastructure. The wider team also includes professionals from Apple, Meta, Adidas, and Xbox, bringing deep technical and brand experience.

ChatBlu’s foundation was strengthened by the Genoa Entrepreneurship School, which mentors student-led startups. With guidance from experts at Sequoia, Apple, and Tesla, the founders refined their concept and pitch.

Investors were quick to take notice. Matador VC led the $500,000 pre-seed investment, joined by angel investors from Google and Amazon Web Services.

“Store owners should be able to speak in plain language and see results instantly across every storefront,” says Lukauskis. “Inventory should manage itself, allowing founders to focus on their products and customers.”

Why ChatBlu Matters for E-Commerce Sellers

For small business owners and growing brands, time is the most limited resource. Repeating the same price or inventory update across multiple platforms not only wastes effort but also increases the risk of costly errors.

With ChatBlu’s AI inventory automation, a seller can issue one command, let the system handle the updates, and receive a clear report of what changed — all within moments. This approach cuts redundancy, enhances accuracy, and saves hours every week.

Initially launching in English-speaking markets, ChatBlu plans to expand into Hispanic regions over the next year, fulfilling its goal of making AI-driven inventory management accessible to merchants of all backgrounds.

The real-world benefits are clear:

  • Fashion brands can run synchronized weekend sales without missing a single product.
  • Seasonal sellers can quickly adjust prices after demand shifts, reducing dead stock and increasing cash flow.

As Dillon puts it:

“You tell the agent what you want done, it executes the task, and you can get back to building your business.”
