Leela Questions Anupama’s Decision
The episode begins with Leela sensing Anupama’s restlessness. She directly asks if Anupama is missing something. Anupama admits that Leela is listening to her heart. Leela, emotional, questions why Anupama wants to leave for Mumbai and live among strangers when her entire family wants her to stay. Anupama is left speechless.
During a family moment, Anupama blesses Kinjal and Prarthana as four generations come together in prayer. Leela reminds Prarthana to focus on the kitchen ritual but not to overburden herself with fasting. Anupama lovingly tells her to rest. Later, Leela asks Anupama to visit the temple since it is both Anuj’s birthday and Janmashtami. Anupama softly confesses her love for Anuj.
Kothari Family Celebrates Janmashtami
Meanwhile, the Kotharis gather to celebrate Janmashtami. Vasundhara announces the celebrations, but tension brews when she accuses Parag of ignoring other relationships for Prarthana’s sake. Anil intervenes, asking both to avoid conflicts on the auspicious day.
Anupama and Rahi’s Clash
Anupama decides to honor Anuj’s birthday. On her way, she meets Rahi, who challenges her intentions. Rahi taunts Anupama, accusing her of being self-centered and claiming she can never be a mother. She further provokes Anupama by saying she will defeat her in the upcoming dance competition.
Anupama replies firmly, turning Rahi’s words back at her. Prem tries to stop the argument, but Rahi insists she will celebrate Anuj’s birthday before Anupama and tells Prem to keep her waiting. Anupama, though hurt, chooses patience and admits to Anuj in her heart that she has grown used to Rahi’s rude yet childlike behavior.
Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations Begin
At the Shah household, Jignesh dresses up as Lord Krishna, bringing smiles to everyone. Anupama eagerly looks for the dance performers. Sarita expresses her excitement, saying it is her first Gujarati Janmashtami. Leela explains the tradition—first offering prayers to Baal Gopal, followed by Garba.
Soon after, Rahi and Prem perform as Radha and Krishna, mesmerizing everyone with their dance. The Shahs and the Kotharis come together for the grand Janmashtami celebrations. Yet, amidst the joy, both Anupama and Rahi silently miss Anuj.
