In today’s episode of Anupama, emotions run high as Parag finally realizes his mistakes and expresses his heartfelt regret.
Parag Accepts His Mistake
Parag tells Prarthana, “I always believed Vasundhara’s son would never bow down before anyone. But today, in front of your father, he broke down and lost… while you won. Your love has truly won.”
Prarthana thanks him and says that his support has given her immense happiness. Parag continues, “As the father of the bride, all wedding responsibilities were mine, but the Shahs fulfilled them. You carried out all my duties with grace. Thank you. Ansh, please always take care of my daughter.”
He then returns Prarthana’s long-lost pendant, filling her with joy. Addressing the Shahs, Parag admits that he had always come to them with arrogance, but today he stands only as Prarthana’s father. He regrets marrying her off to Gautam.
Parag’s Realization
Preet tells Bharti she doesn’t understand Parag’s change of heart, to which Bharti replies, “Everyone has two sides.”
Parag then shares his pain, saying he thought Prarthana, raised like a princess, would be treated like a queen by Gautam. “But life doesn’t always go the way parents wish for their children. A girl’s married life is unpredictable. We only send our daughters with the hope that their future will be happy. But Prarthana’s relationship turned out to be wrong, and it broke.”
Anupama consoles him, “That was fate’s mistake.”
Parag admits his guilt, “Even while watching, I couldn’t stand up against that wrong relationship. That is my mistake.” He realizes his business deal with Gautam came at the cost of his daughter’s happiness.
Anupama Stands by Parag
Parag thanks the Shahs for supporting Prarthana and acknowledges that she is lucky to have Anupama, Ansh, and the Shah family by her side. He assures his daughter that he will always be there for her.
Anupama explains that during a daughter’s farewell, parents should reassure her of their constant presence to lessen her pain. Prem feels proud of Parag, while both Prarthana and Prem call him the best father.
Parag requests Anupama to take Prarthana with her. Prarthana and Ansh seek his blessings before leaving. Heartbroken, Parag breaks down, and Anupama comforts him, reminding him that even fathers have the right to cry. She assures him that Prarthana is her daughter too.
Anupama praises Parag for raising Prarthana with strong values and consoles him by saying Vasundhara and Khyati will eventually calm down. She promises him that everything will be fine.

Rahi questions Anupama about her feelings for Anuj, saying she can only love herself. Rahi also cruelly adds that Anupama can never be a mother. Anupama retaliates, telling Rahi that she is not even fit to be a doctor. Rahi then challenges her. While Prem tries to stop Rahi, she warns him instead and tells him to stop Anupama from celebrating Anuj’s birthday.
