In today’s episode of Anupama (25th August 2025), the Shah family celebrates a big milestone as Ansh and Prarthana’s wedding rituals are finally completed. Anupama warmly congratulates the newlyweds, while Leela reminds them to take blessings from the elders. Since Prarthana is pregnant, Anupama asks the elders to step forward instead, ensuring the tradition continues without burdening her. Hasmuk praises the beauty of Indian culture, and everyone showers blessings on the couple. Meanwhile, Rahi feels sad watching Anupama happy with the dance queens.
Anupama’s Advice on Marriage
Anupama shares her heartfelt thoughts on marriage, saying that in the past, women were seen as Anugamini — the ones who walked behind their husbands. But today, wives are Sahagamini — equal partners walking alongside their husbands. She adds that marriage is not just a ritual, but a true partnership where husband and wife share responsibilities and face challenges together.
Fun Rituals and Emotional Moments
Leela speaks about the farewell (bidaai) ritual. Even though Prarthana already stays in the Shah house, Leela insists on performing it for a fresh beginning. Rahi lightens the mood by reminding everyone about the shoe-stealing ritual. The Shah family dances together as Rahi’s team successfully steals Ansh’s shoes. She demands ₹20,000, but after some playful bargaining, Anupama suggests giving ₹5,000. Rahi happily distributes the money among her team and the dance queens.
Later, Prarthana gets emotional as she misses Parag. Ansh and Anupama console her, while Anupama silently wishes Parag had attended the wedding. She feels his ego is stopping him from being there.
Parents’ Silent Pain
Pakhi asks why Rahi and Prem are emotional. Anil explains that during a daughter’s farewell, parents silently endure the pain because society believes in-laws have more rights over her after marriage. Anupama agrees, saying that parents, who once protected their daughter and guided her, suppress their emotions during bidaai. Prem adds that these tears also reflect happiness, as they see their daughter beginning a new journey with her partner.
Parag’s Emotional Entry
At last, Parag arrives for Prarthana’s farewell. Anupama encourages Prarthana to take his blessings. Both father and daughter share an emotional moment as Parag places her hand into Ansh’s, accepting the marriage wholeheartedly.
Meanwhile, Gautam fumes after learning that Parag met Prarthana. He accuses Parag of betraying Vasundhara and Khyati. In anger, Gautam threatens to harm himself, but Vasundhara and Khyati stop him. They vow to keep Prarthana and Ansh away from their family. Vasundhara even declares she will snatch Prarthana’s baby against Parag’s wishes, while Gautam plots revenge against Ansh and Anupama.
