Dev and Vasudha’s Quiet World of Love

Chandrika Breaks Down After Dadi’s Words
Back at the Chauhan mansion, Chandrika walks to her room in complete silence. Prabhat comments that Dadi spoke nothing but the truth. But instead of reflecting, Chandrika bursts with rage. She cannot believe someone insulted her inside her own house and questions whether her identity as Chandrika Singh Chauhan has lost its weight.
Vasudha Reaches Out, Only to Be Rejected
Despite her fear, Vasudha decides to call Chandrika. She greets her softly with folded hands, but Chandrika doesn’t even recognize her voice. When Vasudha identifies herself, Chandrika coldly states she knows no one named Vasudha. She declares the number is only for close family and friends, instructing Vasudha never to call again.
The call ends with painful finality, leaving Vasudha heartbroken. Sarika mocks her mercilessly until Divya steps in to stop her.
Later, Chandrika gathers the family and announces that their friend Kanchan has returned from the USA and invited them for dinner to discuss a business partnership. Sarika gets excited, while Avinash mutters that Chandrika has become stone-hearted.
Vasudha Breaks Down, Feeling Responsible
Back at Dadi’s home, Vasudha collapses emotionally. She begs Dadi not to visit the Chauhan mansion again, convinced that her presence has made everything worse. She feels responsible for Dev’s pain and wonders whether they should have come here at all.
Dadi listens quietly before revealing a deeper truth. She reminds Vasudha that her love for Dev is the reason she fought for them. Vasudha is a rare daughter-in-law—someone Chandrika should treasure, not reject. Dadi says Chandrika built a beautiful family but destroyed it with one moment of rage. When Vasudha says they should leave to reduce Dadi’s trouble, Dadi stops her firmly. She says this house belongs to Dev and Vasudha, and they must not run away from their challenges. She informs them that she must leave the next morning because her son has called her, but she will return soon.
A Night of Hunger and Hope
Later, Dev receives some fruits. When Vasudha insists he eat, Dev learns she hasn’t eaten anything either. She prepared khichdi only for Dadi and drank water to fill her stomach. She calls the fruits a blessing from God and urges Dev to stay strong. Dev promises he will not let her go hungry again and vows to find work the very next day.
A New Morning and a New Beginning
The next morning, Dadi prepares to leave. She blesses Dev and Vasudha warmly and tells Dev to use her son’s freshly washed and ironed clothes. Vasudha feels deeply grateful for Dadi’s support.
In a touching moment, Dev tries to touch Vasudha’s feet, calling her his Lakshmi. Vasudha stops him, reminding him that he is her Narayan and there is no need for either of them to bow before the other. Dadi laughs at the sweet moment and blesses them both.
Before leaving, Dadi gives Dev a small amount of money so he doesn’t have to walk to look for work. Dev hesitates, but Vasudha insists he should accept blessings with respect. Finally, Dadi leaves with a promise to return soon.
