The inspector, unaware of the real truth, questions sternly, “Who are these people?” Before anyone can answer, a constable steps forward and says coldly, “Sir, this is Sachin — the man who hit senior constable Arun.” The accusation shocks everyone, and the atmosphere turns heavy.
Sayali, standing beside Sachin, pleads with him to remain calm. “Sachin, please talk peacefully,” she says, trying to defuse the situation. But the inspector’s anger only grows stronger. He mocks, “So now even civilians are raising their hands on police officers? Impressive courage!”
Sachin, trying to defend himself, explains that he didn’t attack anyone without reason — he only reacted when an officer misbehaved with innocent locals. However, before he can say more, the inspector interrupts and orders, “Tambey, file an FIR against him and put him in lockup immediately!”
Despite Sayali’s repeated pleas, the inspector refuses to listen. “Sir, please don’t punish him without knowing the truth,” Sayali insists, her voice trembling yet determined. Sachin also adds calmly, “At least hear my side once, sir.” But their words fall on deaf ears. The inspector coldly signals, “Tambey, stop wasting time and lock him up!”
The clanging sound of the cell door closing marks a painful moment. Sayali watches helplessly as Sachin is taken away, her eyes filled with tears and frustration. Standing behind her, Riya too looks heartbroken by the injustice.
Back at home, Renuka’s reaction shocks everyone. Instead of showing concern, she blames Sachin for his own downfall. Her insensitive words anger Riya and Akash, who can’t believe how indifferent she has become. “Sachin has done so much for this family,” Riya argues, “and now when he’s in trouble, you don’t even care?”
Sayali, however, refuses to give up. She vows to prove Sachin’s innocence and open Renuka’s eyes to his true character — his honesty, bravery, and kindness. Determined and strong, she promises to fight until the truth comes out.
