According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Kantara 2 earned Rs 2.50 crore on Wednesday, taking its total India collection to Rs 599.15 crore. The film’s performance has been phenomenal despite a noticeable dip in collections during the fourth week.

In week four, the film saw a brief spike during the weekend before facing a 68% decline on weekdays, collecting Rs 3.25 crore on Monday, Rs 3.8 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 2.5 crore on Wednesday.
The regional occupancy on Wednesday reflected its steady appeal: 11.44% in Kannada, 8.79% in Telugu, 13.37% in Hindi, and 17.39% in Tamil.

As per Sacnilk, Kantara 2 has grossed approximately Rs 817 crore worldwide, including Rs 707 crore from India and Rs 110 crore overseas, within 26 days of release.
Industry experts predict that the movie could end its theatrical run at around Rs 875+ crore globally, though the recent confirmation of its digital release from October 31 for South Indian languages might impact further growth.
Meanwhile, the filmmakers have claimed a slightly higher Rs 852 crore worldwide total during the same period, making Kantara 2 one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year.

- Third-Highest Single-Day Collection of 2025:
 Kantara 2 recorded the third-highest single-day collection this year, behind Rajinikanth’s Coolie Coolie (Rs 65 crore) and Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG (Rs 63.75 crore). It even surpassed Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava opening day of Rs 52 crore.
