The latest episode of Jhanak (20th September 2025) begins with an emotional conversation between Jhanak and Sakhi. Jhanak thanks Sakhi for keeping her secret, explaining that Rishi is going to marry Aditi, and she doesn’t want the villagers to create any trouble for him. Sakhi, shocked, questions how Rishi can marry Aditi when he is already tied to Jhanak. But Jhanak reminds her that their marriage was a forced one, and she never considered it real.

Sakhi feels anxious about Jhanak’s uncertain future and even compares her life with Nutan’s. But Jhanak, determined, says she will not repeat Nutan’s mistakes. She promises to focus on building her career and defends Rishi’s decisions, leaving Sakhi feeling helpless.
Family Prepares for Rishi and Aditi’s Wedding
The next day, Indumati urges Dadabhai to get ready for the wedding. Initially reluctant due to poor health, Dadabhai finally agrees after Abhimanyu and Tanushri remind him of his responsibility as the family elder. The family prepares to leave for the registered marriage ceremony of Rishi and Aditi.
When Rishi comes downstairs, he notices the women dressed up elaborately and questions why they are over-prepared for a simple registered marriage. Kaju and Badam teasingly call him “the groom,” which irritates Rishi. Badam’s words remind him of Jhanak, making him emotional before he excuses himself for a phone call.
Meanwhile, Neelu and Putul argue over a saree choice, but Abhimanyu steps in to stop them. Soon after, the guests ask about Jhanak. Indumati lies, saying Jhanak has gone back to her village for exams and will not return. When the guest probes further about her marital status, Tanushri clarifies that Jhanak and Rishi’s marriage was forced, and he never accepted her as his wife.
Jhanak’s Health Worsens
Back in Simulboni, the doctor informs Parashar that Jhanak’s medicines are no longer effective and she must be shifted to a city hospital for better treatment. The doctor asks about her husband, but Parashar explains that Rishi is in Kolkata. The doctor insists on informing Rishi immediately and arranging an ambulance.
On the other hand, Aditi prepares for her wedding while Rishi speaks to his colleague. A police officer questions him about Jhanak. Rishi replies that she went to her village for exams. However, he breaks down, confessing that he was responsible for her accident. He regrets that Jhanak couldn’t meet her mother one last time because of him, and admits he will never forgive himself if anything happens to her.
Meanwhile, Jhanak lies weak in her village, recalling her moments with Rishi and breaking down in tears.

In the upcoming episode, Jhanak tells Sakhi that she does not want to return to her in-laws. Meanwhile, Parashar calls Rishi to urgently inform him about Jhanak’s critical condition.
