The latest episode of Jhanak opens with Jhanak revealing to Sakhi that Rishi and Aditi’s marriage has been fixed. Shocked, Sakhi reminds her that Rishi is already Jhanak’s husband. However, Jhanak explains that their marriage was forced and holds no legal value. She adds that she has always acted normal with Rishi only for the sake of appearances. Determined, Jhanak decides never to return to Kolkata.
Sakhi insists she will inform the villagers, who will then demand justice for Jhanak. But Jhanak stops her, saying she herself encouraged Rishi to marry Aditi and has no objections to their relationship. She admits she never accepted Rishi as her husband and cannot interfere between two people in love. She makes Sakhi promise not to reveal anything for now, assuring her that she will speak the truth at the right time.
Sakhi breaks down in tears, but Jhanak consoles her, saying she is fine and needs to focus on her studies. Sakhi feeds Jhanak and promises to keep her secret before leaving. Alone, Jhanak softly admits to herself that she may have feelings for Rishi.
Meanwhile, Rishi assures Aditi that although Jhanak is his responsibility, he will step in only when necessary. He adds that once Jhanak’s exams are over, she will declare to the villagers that their marriage is invalid. Aditi seeks confirmation, and Rishi confidently says he trusts Jhanak. Neelu then suggests starting wedding preparations, and Abhimanyu encourages her to go shopping with Aditi.
Dadabhai informs Aditi that he has taken responsibility for Jhanak’s education and she will study in Kolkata. Aditi agrees but refuses to allow Jhanak to stay in their house. Dadabhai insists Jhanak can stay until hostel arrangements are finalized.
Elsewhere, Parashar notices Jhanak still has a fever and suggests informing Rishi. Jhanak brushes it off, saying she will recover soon. When Parashar finds her phone and sees Rishi’s missed calls, he grows concerned. Kanka questions why they should care for Jhanak, but Parashar firmly reminds everyone that she is his daughter and it is his duty to look after her.
Still, Jhanak insists they should not bother Rishi as he cannot take leave from work. Mangal disagrees, saying Rishi deserves to know about his wife’s condition. Upset, Jhanak yells at them not to call him. Sakhi supports Jhanak, promising that she will personally inform Rishi when the time is right. Reluctantly, Parashar agrees and entrusts Sakhi with Jhanak’s care.
As the episode ends, Jhanak admits she doesn’t want to create more problems for Rishi.
Precap: Parashar finally calls Rishi to inform him that Jhanak’s health is worsening.
