In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), Abhira is seen cleaning the university premises. While working, she comes across a black coat that instantly takes her back to painful memories of the past. The sight leaves her restless. Jaya thanks Abhira for her help, but Abhira questions how she ended up in jail for a crime she never committed. She feels the world around her is unjust and confusing.

Jaya opens up about her personal tragedy. She shares that Abhira reminded her of her own daughter. At first, her daughter used to visit her in jail, but eventually, she abandoned her and even told her in-laws that her mother was dead. Abhira feels heartbroken listening to Jaya’s story. Jaya then warns Abhira that nobody truly walks out of jail alive—only lifeless bodies leave the place.
Meanwhile, Arman is consumed with guilt, fearing that Abhira might have been executed. He becomes increasingly restless. Geetanjali urges him to look after his own health before worrying about Abhira. But Arman blames himself, saying Abhira is suffering only because of him. He asks Geetanjali to go inside, worried that she might fall sick in the rain, which would only add to his guilt.
Later, Jaya asks Abhira if she managed to sleep. Abhira replies that after waiting seven long years to be reunited with her daughter, she finally found peace, but once again, everything has been shattered. She starts imagining Arman and Myra visiting her. Deep down, Abhira longs for Myra.
On the other hand, Myra refuses to go to school without Arman and Abhira. In anger, she throws her bag, causing Arman’s picture to fall. Tanya scolds her for her tantrums, while Vidya tries to calm the situation. Tanya warns that Myra must not misbehave with Vidya and Kaveri. Geetanjali, however, supports Myra. Shocked, Myra learns that Arman married Geetanjali and refuses to accept the truth.
Back in jail, Abhira faces trouble from Kesari while performing her cleaning duties.

Precap: The inspector cancels Abhira’s visitation rights, leaving her worried about not being able to meet Arman or learn about Myra’s condition. Meanwhile, Myra decides to visit Abhira alone but gets kidnapped. Abhira senses that Myra is in grave danger.
