The episode of Jhanak on 28th August 2025 begins with an intense moment at the hospital. Aniruddh meets Rishi and expresses relief that he has finally received a clean chit. Rishi thanks Aniruddh for supporting him and reveals that it was because of Jhanak’s statement that he was cleared of all charges. This revelation surprises Dadabhai and Putul.
Rishi Reveals the Accident Truth
Aniruddh then questions Rishi about the accident that injured Jhanak. Rishi admits he was slightly distracted and that heavy Ganesh Chaturthi traffic made matters worse. When asked if Jhanak’s family knows about it, Rishi confesses he couldn’t reach them and now plans to visit Simulboni to inform them.
Aniruddh wonders if Rishi really intends to go to Simulboni. Rishi insists that Jhanak is critical and must meet her mother. However, Aniruddh warns him that Aditi would be displeased. Dadabhai interrupts, saying that since Jhanak is on her deathbed and Rishi caused the accident, he should do everything possible for her, regardless of Aditi’s opinion. Aniruddh further suggests that Rishi should call Jhanak’s father as well.
Shocking Family Secret Unfolds
To everyone’s shock, Rishi reveals that Parashar is not Jhanak’s father. He says Jhanak’s real father abandoned her mother, Nutan. Aniruddh refuses to believe this, but Rishi defends Nutan and warns him not to judge her unfairly. Aniruddh, however, insists that villagers cannot be trusted blindly. He then hopes Jhanak recovers soon and leaves.
The next day, Rishi visits Simulboni, where he learns that Nutan is unwell while Parashar is absent. When Sakhi questions his sudden arrival, he says he needs to speak with Nutan urgently.
Nutan’s Emotional Confession
Nutan, shocked to see Rishi, immediately asks about Jhanak’s condition. Rishi informs her about the accident and assures her that Jhanak’s surgery was successful. But Nutan asks him a heartbreaking question—whether he has accepted Jhanak as his wife. She reminds him that she knows he truly loves Aditi, and history seems to be repeating itself.
Confused, Rishi listens as Nutan recalls her struggles in giving Jhanak a place in society. Fearing she may not live long, she tells Rishi her painful life story and requests him never to abandon Jhanak, even if he cannot accept her as a wife.
Aniruddh’s Dilemma
Meanwhile, Aniruddh remembers Jhanak confessing that she is pregnant with his child. Hurt, he murmurs that she betrayed him for Parashar. Bablu and Anjana overhear his words. When Anjana questions him, Aniruddh brushes it off, reminding himself not to think about Jhanak. At the same time, Aditi informs Aniruddh that Rishi has gone to Simulboni again. Arshi also warns them that Rishi should not be trusted.
Back in Simulboni, Nutan shocks Rishi further by revealing that although Parashar loves Jhanak, he is not her father. She finally confesses the truth—Aniruddh Bose is Jhanak’s biological father.

Rishi hands over Nutan’s letter to Aniruddh. While Aniruddh urges him to keep it a secret, Rishi boldly declares that Jhanak is his daughter, and he must take responsibility for her.
